A chess tournament organized by the University of Zakho’s College of Education for university staff and students was held in the College of Administration and Economics. The tournament was conducted under the supervision of the President, Dr. Nadhim S. Jacksi, and in the presence of the Vice President for Administration and Financial Affairs, Muhammad H. Khamo, the Vice President for Student Affairs, Dr. Ramadhan J. Mustafa, and the Dean of the College of Education, Dr. Sattar J. Haji.

The tournament fostered an environment of friendly competition, and the players engaged in the games, showcasing their strategic thinking and tactical prowess.

 

In the end, the participants were evaluated, and during the awards ceremony, the spotlight was cast on the winners: Hassan B. Abdulqadir, recognized for his masterful strategic moves, secured the top position, Walat Abdulkareem secured the second position, and Niroj A. Asaad secured the third position.
